Rush Orders:
What if I have a Rush Order?
Please make certain to mention your rush status, including your in hands date on the order comments. We would also strongly suggest calling 1-888-401-VINE either before or immediately after the order is placed online. All orders are dependant upon stock availability, which cannot be determined until after your initial request is made.
Is it possible to receive a Rush Order within only 2-3 business days?
Many of our items, but not all, can be placed on an EXTREME RUSH status. Some can even be turned within 48 hours if needed. Of course, add’l costs will be incurred including increased freight, set-up, and rush decoration fees. A promovine.com representative will inform you of these charges before the order is confirmed. We would stronly suggest calling 1-888-401-VINE either before or immediately after the order is placed online. All orders are dependant upon stock availability, which cannot be determined until after your initial request is made.
Over/Underruns
What is an overrun or underrun?
An overrun is an allowance set by the product manufacturer that is created to absorb spoilage. Often times, especially with non-apparel items and on large orders, manufacturers will run more items than what is ordered to cover for possible spoilage incurred during the production process. The exact allowance is set by the manufacturer, which is generally 5%, but can go as high as 10%. Overruns are billable, and they are considered a standard in our industry. A customer can arrange to alter the overrun policy, but charges will apply that vary by brand.
An underrun generally occurs when there is more spoilage in production than what the manufacturer allowed for, or there wasn’t quite enough product in stock to complete the order, but just enough to reach the accepted underrun allowance range.
Artwork Requirements:
What format artwork is necessary?
In almost all cases, and especially on non-apparel items, the requirement is for "vectorized" .eps files either created in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. "Vectorized" .pdf files will also be acceptable at times. Please remember to list the fonts and specific coated PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors to be utilized if this is required by your company to help ensure correct decoration.
For PMS color chart please visit: http://www.plstores.com/pms_color_chart.html
Remember! All computer screens show colors differently! For best results, please request PMS colors to be used from your corporate logo guidelines or use an actual physical PMS chart at your location.
If artwork cannot be provided in a "vectorized" .eps format there will most likely be an art fee assessed. We will then need to have our artist re-create the artwork into an .eps file. Art charges are billed at $40/hr. The average time to re-create a file is 1 – 2 hours if the image given to us is of a decent quality. Once the file is re-created into .eps format and the charge has been paid a copy of the .eps file may be sent to you upon your request for your records and usage.
Can I re-save or copy a .jpeg, .tif, .gif, or other filetype into an .eps?
No, unless the artwork was originally created using art creation software, generally Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, the file will not be use-able.
Payments:
How do I pay for my order(s)?
Payment is made during the checkout process. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are the credit cards that Promovine.com accepts. If you do not have one of these credit cards and you still wish to place an order please contact us and we will discuss other payment options including but not limited to: money order, cashiers check.
Is it possible to be set-up an Account and pay on Terms?
Yes, this is possible. Most likely this will not be considered until after an ongoing business relationship with PromoVine.com has been established. Before terms are a possibility the customer will need to provide a list of vendor and bank references. PromoVine.com will then make a determination on open account status within 3 weeks of receipt of references. A personal guaranty will always be required as well.
